Der pokenDOME ist vergangene Woche in Basel getestet worden. Er ist das neueste Produkt von Poken, das wir gemeinsam mit unseren Kunden für den Einsatz auf Events entwickeln.

Bei dem pokenDOME handelt es sich um einen extra-großen Poken, der zusätzliche Informationen verarbeiten kann. Technisch gesehen ist der pokenDOME ein eigener Rechner mit Prozessor, W-Lan etc. In der Praxis wird er das Hardware-Instrument zur Integration von Offline-Aktivitäten.

Denn der pokenDOME hat ein riesiges Anwendungspotenzial: Er ermöglicht das Ticketing, er vereinfacht die passive Erfassung der Poken-Kontakt-Infos, indem er z.B. die Profile derjenigen anzeigt, die mit dem DOME poken. Für Events bietet er den spannenden Zusatz-Nutzen, dass der poken DOME  für (interaktive) Gewinnspiele eingesetzt werden kann oder mit ihm Twitter-Mitteilungen versendet werden können.

…Greg Hyer loves that the information in your Poken account is “fresh.”  That’s right people, you may have pokened with someone 3 months ago and since then they’ve moved and set up shop somewhere else.  Not to worry, they can easily update their information on their Poken card and it will show up in your account instantly.  That is — so fresh.
